COLA Gives of Columbia, SC

 COLA GIVES  was established in Spring 2013 as the first African American giving circle in South Carolina.   A group of native, returning and new residents of the state came together to share a common commitment to acknowledge and celebrate the African American community's long-standing focus on the values of self-determination, self-help, and collective action.
The first and foremost goal of this non-profit organization is to make a difference in as many people's lives as possible. "We are philanthropists who pool our time, talent, and treasure to strategically support efforts to improve and strengthen the Black community."                               See more...

CLINTON COLLEGE of ROCK HILL, SC

Founded as Methodist Institute in 1894 and was organized and incorporated as Clinton Normal and Industrial Institute in 1909. The name was changed to Clinton Junior College in 1965 and was recently renamed Clinton College in 2013. From its founding , Clinton College (CC) has sought to “design and implement an educational program that will help all students lead moral, spiritual and productive lives.” Clinton College has consistently maintained a liberal arts agenda as its primary focus.

This Four-year institution is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian College and Schools (TRACS), and is approved by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.  See more...

JONES MEMORIAL AME ZION CHURCH of Columbia, SC 

Jones Memorial began in 1889 as "Jones Chapel," a congregation within the African American Episcopal Zion denomination.  This  historic church has served the Columbia, SC community continuously for 131 years.  In 2020 the church enjoyed its first female Pastor who serves at Jones Memorial which organizationally is located in the South Atlantic Episcopal District which, in turn, is supervised by the of the first female Bishop of the AME Zion Church.
